Dark ’n Stormy

The Dark ‘n Stormy is a popular drink from the Caribbean. It’s easy to mix up is a delicious, easy-to-make cocktail that features a refreshing trio of spiced rum, ginger beer and lime. It’s a close cousin to the Moscow Mule (vodka, ginger beer, lime) and should be an easy transition for vodka drinkers wanting to try something new.

All that’s needed to make a great Dark ‘n Stormy is our Spiced Rum rum and a good-quality ginger beer. Fever Tree Ginger Beer is our mixer of choice though there are many viable substitutes for each that create an equally tasty drink. Some bartenders add lime juice as well, but it really isn’t needed. In fact, if you want this drink in its true Bermudan style, skip the citrus.

Ingredients:

• 50 ml Pull The Pin Spiced Rum
• Good quality ginger beer
• Fresh lime

Instructions:

Fill a highball glass with ice, add rum, top up with ginger beer and a squeeze of lime, then garnish with a lime wedge…and enjoy!
